A sailing trip combined with a visit to the fortress island Pampus, part of the ‘Stelling van Amsterdam’ (Defence Line of Amsterdam). On this unique island you will take a guided tour of approximately 1 hour through the vaults of the fort
Program Sailing to Pampus
9:00 You will embark the ship that is moored in the harbour of Muiden. After a welcome by the skipper, you will enjoy a coffee with Dutch spice cake. Together you will decide upon the sailing route.
9:30 The ship leaves the harbour and the sails are hoisted. Everyone can help actively, even with the steering and tacking of the ship.
11:00 visit fortress Island Pampus
You will moor at the fortress island of Pampus where you will disembark for a visit to the island that is part of the ‘Stelling van Amsterdam’.
12:00 Lunch on board
You will come on board where a delicious lunch will be served.
12:30 The sails are hoisted again and you will continue your sailing trip on the Markermeer. Along the way, the crew serves delicious snacks and drinks from the national bar.
16:00 Arrival in the harbour of Muiden.
End of a wonderful sailing day and you return to the port of Muiden.
