Teambuilding program on a ship

On and below deck you and your team will have to complete various assignments. Because of this, you will be very actively involved in the sailing and with the greatest of ease you will learn everything about the life on board.

Exemplary programme Teambuilding and sailing

10:00	You and your guest embark the ship that is moored in the harbour of Muiden. After a welcome by the skipper and his crew, the day will be explained, while you enjoy a coffee with Dutch spice cake. The group will be devided in 3 teams.
10:30	You leave the harbour of Muiden. There are three types of watches that need to be done: “Thinking guard” – Steering and navigating “Active guard” – all work that needs to be done on the forecastle and mid-deck. “Galley duty” – All duties below deck. After 45 minutes the teams switch their guards. Together the teams are responsible for the sailing of the ship (i.e. navigating, trimming, galley, steering, etc.). During the sailing there are various assignments to be completed and questions to be answered, in order to get to know the ship and the life on board.
13:00	End of the teambuilding programme. The team that has performed best receives a delicious prize. The rest of the afternoon you will sail the Markermeer, while enjoying snacks and drinks.
